Though the retailer itself described the move as "premature", Dutch outfit Typhone has listed an as-of-yet unannounced Nokia Lumia handset for launch in Europe at some point in 2012.
The Lumia 910 - as named - appears to offer much the same specs as the currently US-only 900, albeit with a more beefy camera slapped in for good measure.
Expanding the focus
As such, as well as a 4.3-inch screen, 1.4GHz CPU and a ClearBlack AMOLED touchscreen, European consumers should soon be able to get their hands on a 12MP Carl Zeiss lens camera a notable upgrade from the 8MP version currently equipped on both Lumia 800 and 900 handsets.
The notion Nokia would release a tweaked version of the Lumia 900 for the European market is not without substance, either: said handset is designed to run on AT&T LTE network a communication standard not widely supported on this side of the Atlantic.
As such, the Lumia 910 could be a nifty way for Nokia to bring a Europe-ready version of Nokia's flagship Window Phone's handset to market equipped with an upgrade to distinguish it from the Lumia 800, which went on sale across the continent in November.
Summer star?
Nokia itself is yet to comment, though PG.biz was told by an industry insider that the Finnish firm's next big Windows Phone handset then believed to be the Lumia 900 would launch on UK shores this summer.
On a similar note, Carphone Warehouse made headlines earlier in January when it briefly listed the Lumia 900 (pictured below) for launch in the UK in June.
