Countering continued stories of slower than expected PS Vita hardware sales, Sony has released a collection of stats designed to illustrate the strength of one of the platform's key digital releases, MotorStorm: RC.The firm claims the game, which launched first in Europe on both Vita and PlayStation 3 on 22 February, is currently amassing 19 downloads every minute.Playing with numbersStretch that stat out, and the game is enjoying 27,360 downloads a day, more than 190,000 downloads a week, or at current pace around 820,000 downloads a month.No platform split for the downloads has been given, though Sony has gone on to reveal at least two new PSN friendships are 'ignited' and two new challenges sent every minute within the game.Every 60 seconds also sees eight PlayStation Trophies awarded to players on their way to earning the game's Lunatics United platinum trophy."These impressive stats show just how well-received MotorStorm: RC, developed by the team at Evolution Studios, has been," detailed Sony in a statement.MotorStorm: RC retails for £4.79 on PS Vita in the UK, but is free in the US.
