Having run its course at Pinewood Studios in the UK between 28-29 April, the winners of TIGA and BlueVia's 24 hour GameHack have been announced, with the event serving as a "brilliant showcase for aspiring or independent game creators."
The biggest winner of the hack, which charged developers with coming up with games in a total of 10 different categories, was The Super Flash Bros., which picked up Adobe's Best Flash Game for iOS and the SCEE Best Game Award.
Other winners included Lightwood Games, which won BlueVia's Best Use of Mobile, and Smoking Games which was named Best Cross Platform Mobile Application by Marmalade.

"The TIGA-BlueVia GameHack was a tremendous success," said TIGA CEO Dr. Richard Wilson.
"Our GameHack gave developers a chance to create innovative games in new teams at the inspirational setting of Pinewood Studios; the chance to network with some of the best people in the UK games development sector; and a chance to win some superb prizes.
"Above all, the GameHack brought the development community together for an extremely enjoyable weekend."
TIGA has also released a number of stats shining light on the hacks themselves, with a total of 43 entires made across all categories.
The most popular category was BlueVia's mobile award, which saw 18 entries equal to almost 42 percent. Its popularity, in TIGA's view, "echoes the shift in the wider gaming industry towards mobile devices."
The full list of winners can be found over on TIGA's website.
