On the back of what CEO Stephen Elop suggested was unexpectedly strong demand in the US, Nokia has launched its Windows Phone flagship the Lumia 900 across the UK.
The handset is an HSPA+ variant of the LTE-equipped US version - owing to the current lack of a 4G network in Britain - though users picking up the device from day one will benefit from one or two treats currently unavailable to other Windows Phone owners.
Ready to Tango
Namely, an early look at the next major update to the Windows Phone platform, dubbed Tango.
As detailed by The Verge, Lumia 900 in the UK comes with Tango out of the box, sporting additions such as a new location icon signifying when the device is accessing GPS and the ability to attach videos.
The handset is currently available at Phones4U, though it's expected it will roll out more widely across retailers from 11 May.
