App store analytics specialist App Annie has launched support for Google Play, and now offers analytics and store stats for Android app publishers free of charge.
App Annie users can track sales, installs, star ratings, and rankings over time, in a single dashboard which allows for geographic segmentation.
While Google's developer resources allow users to view data for their country of residence, App Annie's platform also allows users to peruse international data and global Google Play rankings.
There's a premium service for a more detailed breakdown too.

Furthermore, that single dashboard lets users easily switch between iOS and Google Play stats, making it a useful solution for cross-platform apps and studios which develop for both platforms.
App Annie claims that its service is already used by 80 percent of the top 100 iOS publishers, and boasts that more than 100,000 apps use App Annie analytics.
