Another day, another set of console-grade developers are moving to mobile.
Based in Redwood Shores, CA, Slimstown Studio's principles are CEO Sabine Duvall, director of product development Peter Dassenko, and marketing and PR director Amar Gavhane.
Boasting over 30 years experience in companies including Sierra, 2K, Midway. TikGames and Hudson, they're backed by private equity investment group La Jolla Partners.
Doing it all
The company plans to act as a developer of its own games, as well as funding and sourcing third party content to publish.
And it's already working on its first two games; a runner based on a classic movie franchise; and a 3D simulation. Both are due for release in 2012.
"We formed this company to make incredibly fun games that push the envelope," said Sabine Duvall.
"We have a number of our own games that we've designed and will certainly make, but we also know that there are plenty of talented people out there who just need a little help getting their own game ideas made."
