Continuing to build out its mobile gaming platform, Israeli outfit MoMinis has announced an enhanced Android play.
Labelled its Collaboration Program, this is a move to encourage developers to bringing their online, PC or even iPhone games over to Android.
Get robotic
The program is split into three main elements: development; publishing and on-going optimisation.
The first part sees MoMinis working on the original code using its technology suite to port it to Android, then publishing it on its platform, which has more than 25 million users worldwide.
Longterm deployment relies on its in-game analytics system to track and optimise user behaviour.
Revenues generated from the Android game's distribution, by either the developer or MoMinis, is split between the two partners.
Bulking up
MoMinis hopes to have 20 companies on the program by the end of 2012, with Arkadium, Awem Studio and Linksolutions already signed up as initial partners.
One of the first games to be released in this way has been Linksolutions' PC title Pets Fun House, which was downloaded over 250,000 times during its first week on Google Play.
"Our goal has always been to make it easy to either create, publish or engage with games on any mobile device," said Eyal Rabinovich, MoMinis co-founder.
"The Collaboration Program epitomises this and complements our existing solutions for developers by using our ability to create and distribute content quickly. The result is more developers' games on mobile and more people playing them."
You can apply for the Program by at the MoMinis website.
