InnoGames hiring mobile developers, UX designers and senior flash devs for cross-platform push
As part of its continuing transition from PC specialist to cross-platform studio, InnoGames is hunting for mobile talent through the PocketGamer.biz jobs board.

The Hamburg-based developer is currently recruiting for three positions – mobile developer, mobile user experience designer and senior flash developer. All three roles will operate out of InnoGames' headquarters in Hamburg.

Brass tacks

All applicants should be educated to degree-level or equivalent, and be able to boast relevant industry experience.

More specifically, flash developers should know their way around ActionScript 3.0, Robotlegs and PureMVC. Mobile developers should have an excellent knowledge of Objective-C and/or Java programming, and mobile user experience designers should be skilled with Photoshop in the field of screen design.

Bit of background

When PocketGamer.biz last spoke with InnoGames MD Michael Zillmer, he explained that the company – which is best known for its free-to-play PC titles – had adopted a complete cross-platform policy.

"All of our upcoming games will be cross-platform, and therefore we are avid about expanding our mobile department," Zillmer said.

"Mobile especially is growing rapidly in importance for InnoGames, so we always have a handful of positions we are looking to fill in this area." In other words, now would be a very good time to send in an application.
