Attendees at this year's Evolve in London conference will learn how to make a playable Windows 8 game in just 45 minutes.
At least, that's the bold claim being made by David Fletcher and Myra Smallman, the design director and communication director of Rapid2D.
The company's Rapid2D engine enables developers to produce apps for both Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8, using a graphical user interface to facilitate game creation in record time.
The whole gang
With the recently-launched Windows Store enjoying daily download figures that puts the Mac App Store to shame, it seems likely that more developers will soon be looking to make their move on Microsoft's latest OS.
Other confirmed speakers for the event include nDream CEO Patrick O'Luanaigh - who'll be discussing free-to-play monetisation - and Develop magazine editor Will Freeman, who'll examine crowdfunding through Kickstarter.
Dlala Studios CCO Aj Grand-Scrutton will also describe his experiences launching a game exclusively for Windows 8.
Tickets are still available from the Evolve website, priced at £345 plus VAT.
