Japanese publisher Marvelous AQL (TSE: 7844) has been tidying up its US holdings.
It's formed Marvelous USA, which replaces the previously-named XEED JKS Inc.
This consists of PC, console and handheld games company XSEED, and Marvelous Online, which was boosted by the recent acquisition and integration of Altus Online.
Marvelous Online will be responsible for the company's mobile and social game operations in the US.
In Europe, the separately-owned Marvelous AQL Europe is expected to launch its first mobile games in 2013.

"Marvelous USA unifies our US operations under the global Marvelous brand while giving our customers topnotch products and support for both traditional and online social and mobile games," said CEO Shinichi Suzuki.
"Our XSEED Games console and PC brand will continue to offer the quality games and service for which it is known, and Marvelous Online gives us expanded reach into mobile and online social gaming markets."
