Last time we took a look at how mobile games companies were using social media, Gameloft had 7 million Facebook likes.
10 months on, however, and the French publisher has broken the 10 million mark.
At time of writing, it had 10,124,965.
Pretty good going given Supercell has a mere 8,999 likes, Rovio 93,366, and Zynga 3,442,657.
Game or company?
Of course, the flipside is that Gameloft's philosophy when it comes to Facebook is to focus everything on its company page rather than individual game pages.
On that basis, Hay Day has 1,109,515 likes, Angry Birds 24,865,819, and FarmVille 39,366,912.
This compares to 160,023 likes for Gameloft games such as Ice Age Village, 56,672 for Asphalt 4, and 16,114 for Modern Combat 2.
24/7
Still, Gameloft's determination doesn't come without effort.
It has 42 community managers, who run 37 local versions of its official Facebook page across 16 languages.
"We're very proud to have reached 10 million fans on our Facebook page. This is the result of our fans' dedication and the unique relationship we've formed with them," said Gameloft's digital and product marketing director Benoit Pourgaton.
"We thank our fans for all the suggestions and comments they share with us each day, allowing us to improve ourselves and deliver in return the best experience possible in all our games."
