Ukraine dev Nika Entertainment looks for investment to become global force

Ukrainian social mobile developer Nika Entertainment has announced it's opening a new investment round.

Already a top 10 developer in the Russian market with over 14 million installs and over one million daily active players, thanks to its success on the Vk.com and Odnoklassniki social networks, the company is now looking internationally.

Indeed, it's already had games released in Japan, and has worked with Megapolis publisher Social Quantum, which recently released Nika's Atlantis Adventures.

New horizons

"Based on our results, potential and strategy, there's a great business opportunity, so we are ready to attract investors, to grow faster, and join the international market as self-publishers," commented CEO and founder Maxim Slobodyanyuk.

He added that the 100-strong company, which has offices in Russia and Ukraine, currently has local investment options, but is keen to hook up with European and US partners too.

"We're heading for the global market to create unforgettable games and join the top 10 social and mobile games developers worldwide," he predicted.
