Updated: Twitter doubles down on mobile games as it integrates its Fabric tool suite into Unity

Updated: We've been asked to point out that at present Fabric for Unity only supports Crashlytics, Answers, Beta, Twitter Kit, and MoPub.  The thirdparty SDKS aren't yet supported.

In a move to better serve game developers, and ensure Twitter traffic grows, the social platform has announced its Fabric technology now supports Unity.

Providing developers with what it calls "intelligence real-time alerts", Fabric contains core technology from Twitter such as user analytics, crash tracking and monetisation (via MoPub) , also providing access to thirdparty modules from the likes of GameAnalytics, Stripe and Appsee.

It's all been integrated into the Unity IDE within in single plug-in so Unity developers don't have change their workflow.

To support the move, Twitter has also launched a new portal Fabric for Games, which will be its hub for game developer support.

You can check out what's going on at Fabric for Games.
