Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki hosts over 2,000 business meetings and 950 delegates

Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki 2016 was our third year hosting our leading mobile games industry conference in Finland, and it was once again our biggest yet, breaking records in the region for attendance and engagement.

More than 950 delegates from all corners of the mobile gaming world turned up to connect and share their knowledge about this exciting industry.

More than 2,000 business meetings and pitches took place – trouncing the previous record for PGC Helsinki. We also hosted over 80 hours of top quality sessions and fringe content across the two days that included insightful tracks filled with in-depth industry analysis and expert opinion.

And there was our usual range of fringe activities...

Pitching up

Fringe content included the Unreal Workshop, the PocketJam game jam competition, Very Big Indie Pitch and first-ever VR Indie Pitch. Click on the links to see who came out on top.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, our sponsors and to our army of volunteers who made it all possible.

Here are some amazing photos from the event too and there are always more on our official Facebook page.

See you at our next event soon.
