Jamba is shutting down its Ojom mobile games development unit, according to MocoNews.
It means the company won't be developing games in-house any more, instead relying on its relationships with mobile games publishers.
"The games market has matured significantly over the past few years," Jamba CEO Mauro Montanaro tells the site.
"We now already have over 100 partnerships with well-known publishers. Therefore, we no longer see the need to develop our own content in this specific area."
Ojom had been responsible for releasing a series of movie games in recent times, including Charlie's Angels: Hellfire, Men in Black: Alien Assault, and E.T. - The Extra Terrestrial.
However, the company also acted as the in-house developer for Jamba's own-branded games. It remains to be seen who now makes the games for characters like Schnuffel Bunny. If anyone.
