THQ Wireless is the latest mobile games publisher to reveal its revenues from the second quarter of 2008.
It generated $5.1 million of revenues in Q2, a 4.2 per cent rise from the same quarter last year.
It's modest growth compared to rivals like EA Mobile and Gameloft, which posted year on year growth of 33 and 8 per cent respectively (although Gameloft claimed 16 per cent on a comparable exchange rate basis).
Meanwhile, mobile now accounts for 3.7 per cent of THQ's overall revenues, compared to 4.7 per cent this time last year.
THQ's announcement focused more on console, so the company didn't give any further details about the performance of its wireless division - and no analysts asked about it in the ensuring conference call either.
With EA Mobile, Gameloft and THQ Wireless all having released their Q2 results, we're just waiting for Glu Mobile's next Tuesday to complete the set.
