Ross Przybylski is a passionate games industry veteran with over 17 years of experience in software development and 12 years of experience in game development. Ross leads cross-functional teams and creates and manages innovative products and live services. His current project, Summoners Fate (https://summonersfate.com), is a cross-platform deck builder that aims to deliver fantastic fantasy adventure experiences to players in 3 minute sessions. He also provides coaching on breaking into the game industry on his Youtube series "Game Dev Chats" (https://gamedevchats.com).
Ross has a diversity of experience ranging from small startup to AAA development. As a technical leader for Reflection Software, Ross consulted with and developed products for Fortune 500 companies. As an entrepreneur and indie developer, Ross founded D20Studios, LLC and published one of the first cross-platform mobile multiplayer games to market. As both a senior technical and product leader for Electronic Arts, the world's largest video game publisher, Ross managed engineers, creatives, projects and product design.
Ross's skill set includes game design, engineering, mobile development (technical architecture, performance optimization, development best practices, graphics rendering and multi-screen development), AI programming, partnership management, game development process, waterfall and agile project management, team leadership, management, coaching, and problem solving. Recently, Ross has also developed skills in product management, monetization and business development for freemium mobile titles.
Ross believes in the positive impact of knowledge sharing and helping to develop the industry's community and is a frequent guest speaker for conventions, universities, and community groups.
