Dublin developer on the move

Post-Scopely investment, Digit Game Studios looks to add 40 staff

Following the news of investment from US mobile publisher Scopely, Irish developer Digit Game Studio is staffing up.

It already operates cross-platform title Kings of the Realm, but the Scopely deal provides the opportunity for the 20-strong company to start work on its second game, which will be published by Scopely.

And as part of that move, the Dublin-based developer has launched a recruitment drive to triple its headcount to 60.

Talent drive

"Content is the richest source of value in this industry and we are delighted to have significant opportunity to create a lot of it. We are adding to our team to help us do just that," said Richard Barnwell, Digit Game Studios' CEO.

"In addition to Kings of the Realm, we are scaling up our studio to launch an all-new title with iconic, world-leading AAA IP, that has a chance to be huge."
