SGN is surely celebrating today after it's been revealed that its online iPhone dogfighting game F.A.S.T. - Fleet Air Superiority Training has generated an impressive $1 million in just six weeks.
The game allows players to go head-to-head in the skies against human opponents all around the world via wi-fi. SGN has clearly been attempting to find the ideal price point, since F.A.S.T. debuted on the App Store at full price back in June, but is now available at just £1.19 - the cost of which has apparently helped the jet fighter game to really skyrocket.
The developer is apparently considering licensing the engine that powers F.A.S.T., which will presumably open up yet another revenue opportunity the game which is believed to have pulled in as much as $60,000 per day.
Shifting 500,000 copies of a game isn't unheard of by any means on the iPhone, though achieving such figures in the short time that SGN has managed it is undeniably impressive, and will serve to strengthen the platform's position at the forefront of the games industry.
