Samsung's bada smartphone OS hasn't been gaining much attention, what with the company selling out of its Android-based Galaxy devices.
But that doesn't mean game developers aren't experiencing some decent download figures via Samsung Apps for the couple of million bada devices that have been sold, mainly in Europe.
Hot filling
UK outfit Mobile Pie has certainly been impressed. It released a pool game, called appropriately pool two weeks ago.
It's been downloaded over 53,000 times during that period, with a steady rate of around 5,000 downloads daily.
Of course, as a free game, there's little barrier to entry. The developer says it's chosen the free business model to build up its bada audience so it can use it to promote its next game for the platform.
"We're planning some updates and will support pool as long as downloads remain strong," says creative director Will Luton.
"The plan is to include adverts and then use it to push people towards our forthcoming releases."
