Appitalism reinforces marketing and carrier partnership activity with three new hires
As a meta app store, which takes content from thousands of app developers as well as GetJar's entire catalog, it's no surprise Appitalism.com can technically claim to be the world's largest app store, with over 700,000 titles.

So that's the content problem solved, but what's crucial to the business is getting users into the system where Appitalism's curated reward system can drive content downloads.

With that in mind, the company has made three new hires into its New York office.

Geni Piciullo has come onboard as vice president for North America, where she will be responsible for managing the partnerships between Appitalism and the leading US operators. She's previously worked at Qualcomm, Vindigo and AMA, as well as Newsweek and Harvard Business Review.

Marketing is the focus for the other two newcomers, with Tim Hsia taking the role of global marketing director to drive the consumer web and mobile marketing activities. Working with Hsia on marketing strategy is Doo Kim, who joins as a marketing and advertising executive.

"I am delighted to welcome Doo, Geni and Tim to the Appitalism New York team. These three strategic hires in marketing, advertising and carrier relations will help take our Appitalism service to even greater heights in the apps market," said Simon Buckingham, Appitalism's CEO.
