Appitalism adds Android Market support to marketplace bypass tool App Concierge

Rolls out platform to third-parties

Appitalism adds Android Market support to marketplace bypass tool App Concierge
Given Appitalism managed to deliver its App Concierge service for the comparatively closed off Apple App Store back in March, adding support for Android Market seems a logical next step.

The service – which now supports both Apple and Google's marketplaces – nullifies the need the navigate away from Appitalism's multiplatform app store, allowing users to pay for titles directly from within the app's page on the platform.

Once payment has been received, the user then receives an SMS with a download link to complete the purchase. Alternatively, they can also install the title from Appitalism's App Cloud platform.

"By extending our proprietary App Concierge technology, more than 250,000 additional Android apps can now be downloaded directly from Appitalism.com," said CEO Simon Buckingham.

"Since App Concierge now supports both Apple App Store and Google Android Market apps from one destination, our customers who have, for example, an Android smartphone and an iPad tablet, will find Appitalism an even more convenient place to find and get apps for all their devices from one destination."

Appitalism isn't limiting the service to its own platform, however.

The company has confirmed it has also been designed as a stand-alone product, which is will license to third parties – such as carriers and distribution specialists – to enable companies to keep users tied to their respective portals.
