Asymco unveils first 'modern market analysis' conference, bound for Amsterdam on 13 April

Stepping out from the site's constant churn of invaluable tech market analysis, Asymco founder Horace Dediu has announced he's to take to the stage for Asymconf in Amsterdam.

The conference – described by Dediu as a "participatory experience" designed to guide attendees through the "ancient history of personal computing" - will take place on 13 April.

The big four questions

"Asymconf is the asymco.com experience. Live," says Dediu in the event's invitation.

"Attendees will be treated to an engaging, participatory experience. Using the case method, you will be guided through four probing questions pertinent in modern market analysis."

Those four questions focus on what disruption is and how it can be harnessed, what jobs the entertainment industry is hired to do, whether Wall Street over-services the industry and the limits of education.

Those looking to attend will need to register a place on the Asymconf website.
