Gameloft has announced it is to bring popular card game franchise UNO to Amazon's Kindle e-readers, with the game launching across Kindle Keyboard, Kindle, Kindle Touch and Kindle Touch 3G.
The game, which will sport a new gameplay system specifically for the devices, represents what the French publisher believes is a perfect match for the Kindle range's userbase.

"Gameloft is excited to continue working with Amazon to optimise our games for their Kindle products," said VP of publishing for the Americas, Baudouin Corman.
"As UNO is one of the most popular card games, we think the title is sure to resonate amongst Kindle users."
Gameloft is by no means the first games publisher to target Amazon's original e-reader range.
Back in February, Two Way Media launched Poker Squares for Kindle in the US, while the top six apps on the first Kindle were games six months after Amazon launched its original e-reader.
