With 'unconsoles' all the rage post-CES, it's time for Green Throttle Games to accelerate its business.
The US start up that's bringing its Atlas console-style controller to invigorate smart TVs gaming via your Android phone or tablet has announced its SDK has now hit version 1.0.
As well as providing the required code so developers can support the dual-stick controller in their own games, the SDK also contain a preview of the Arena app required to get games working on the big screen and some demo games.
Last week, the company announced it was hooking up with UK unconsole outfit GameStick, which has raised over $360,000 via Kickstarter for its own push to combine analog controllers and smart TVs with Android gaming.
Giveaways
In order to seed its market, Green Throttle is providing opportunities to get two free Atlas controllers.
These are being distributed on a per-development platform basis, with limited qualities available for developers using the following platforms: Unity, Marmalade, Corona, Amazon Kindle Fire, and native when you register for the SDK.
Otherwise you can head over Amazon or the Green Throttle site and purchase various numbers of controllers directly.
