Join us for Pocket Gamer Connects: London 2015 from 13 January

This week is London Week on PocketGamer.biz - a week long look at the brightest and best of the UK capital’s games dev scene - so we couldn’t think of a better time to share the news about the latest of our Pocket Gamer Connects events which will be returning to this awesome global city.

As with our first PGC event (which also took place in London at the start of 2014), this conference will unite an audience from all corners of the world to reflect the truly global nature of the modern mobile games market, running on 13-14 January, 2015.

Whether you’re looking to expand your business in Asia, learn about the opportunities in emerging mobile markets like Latin America or just hear the latest news and views of the brightest and best speakers from US and Europe, you won’t be disappointed.

Meet the industry

The diversity isn’t just geographic either as once again we’ll be offering content and connections to mobile game companies of all sizes from the smallest one-man band indie devs looking to get their game discovered through to the triple A super powers aiming for the next billion dollar hit.

You can also expect to make a lot more friends courtesy of our dedicated networking events.

We’ll be announcing many more details on our multiple tracks and star speakers in the next few weeks, but as with the previous two shows you can expect analysis of the hottest markets and most relevant trends, advice and insight from seasoned industry developers, plus practical data and tips that can genuinely impact your business right now.

You can also expect to make a lot more friends courtesy of our dedicated networking events, tools and meeting spaces, the chance to check out the latest games thanks to our big indie pitch and showcase and of course to let your hair down after hours with a legendary PG party or two.

Early bird tickets are available right now, so you can save yourself some cash and get ahead of the game with hotels and flights by booking early.

For those who want to get more involved and really solidify their position within the global mobile games arena, we’re also open for speaker submissions and panelists, so click here if you’ve got something you’d like to share.

The PGC story so far

In January 2014 we launched our first fully fledged conference at Vinopolis in London with the core themes of east meets west and indie rock stars.

It’s fair to say it exceeded all our expectations, with over 700 top-tier attendees representing leading mobile game developers, publishers, and service companies from all corners of the world.

In June, we followed it up with PGC Helsinki, adding a Nordic twist to proceedings as we explored the past, present and future of the Finnish games industry alongside the asian markets and indie scene for the benefit of over 800 delegates.

In 2015 we’re going bigger and better once again. This is just the launch announcement to let you know tickets are now available, so we’ll bring you a lot more details in the run up to January.

However, as a teaser, we’ll let you know that we’re planning a least five massive tracks across the 2 days with the core global game publishing and indie developer survival guides at the heart flanked by sessions on UA, monetisation, brands and marketing among others.

There’ll be a lot more information to come soon, but in the meantime make sure you sign up right here at PocketGamer.biz to ensure you don’t miss any Pocket Gamer Connects news. And don’t waste time grabbing those early bird tickets, as the first price break is only a few days away.
