TapSense and Women Who Code join forces for GDC Next mobile hackathon

Independent mobile ad exchange company TapSense has joined forced with Women Who Code to organise a mobile hackathon on the GDC Next Hacker Bus.

Top app developers will board the bus, which travels from San Francisco to LA on 2 November, to compete for a grand prize of $10,000 in mobile advertising spend.

All participants will receive roundtrip complimentary seats on the Hacker Bus, as well as a GDC Next expo pass.

Categories in the hackathon will include best game, best app, and best hack.

Ash Kumar, CEO and co-founder of TapSense, has revealed he's looking forward to linking up with Women Who Code, explaining that app developers are a vital part of the mobile ecosystem.

“We’re excited that Women Who Code has joined TapSense to bring the Hacker Bus to GDC Next in LA," said Kumar.
