Virtual Piggy, the firm behind the Oink payment app, which helps parents monitor their children’s spending habits - both online and offline -, has released Oink 2.0.
Oink 2.0 includes newly patented technology showcases popular offers by category, streamlining the shopping experience.
Users will also be able to save their favourite offers so that they can revisit them later, either in-store or online.
Sensible spending
Jo Webber, Virtual Piggy's CEO and co-founder, has described the new app as a “real win for parents”.
“Our new app allows consumers to shop at Oink-partner retailers directly from their mobile devices and make purchases using their digital wallet, which is linked to a personal account,” said Webber.
“It’s a real win for parents, but also for teens whose shopping experience will now be tailored to their likes and interests.”
It was a subject also covered at Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki in a talk from Virtual Piggy's Youb Loukil who covered Oink's apllication to games.
