Skillz named fastest growing company in the US after growing revenues by 50,000% over three years

Mobile eSports firm Skillz has been named the fastest growing company in the US by Inc. Magazine in its annual Inc. 5000 list.

Skillz earned this spot due to its revenues increasing over 50,000% over the last three years. It is the first time an eSports company has topped the list.

The company now powers over 500,000 competitions a day through its platform, which is used by over 3,000 developers.

Cream of the crop

"With over six million private companies in America, it's a tremendous achievement to rank number one," said Skillz CEO and founder Andrew Paradise.

"Our growth is a testament to the hard work of the incredible Skillz team and our developer partners. Today marks a turning point in the growing dominance of eSports within the broader sports industry."

Skillz has been used in a variety of mobile games, including the most recent Street Fighter mobile release and casual success Color Switch. Former Kabam COO Kent Wakeford joined the company's board of directors back in July 2017.
