Best Fiends games fetch $150m in lifetime revenue

Seriously’s Best Fiends games have garnered over $150 million in lifetime revenue since the first instalment launched four years ago.

In a blog post titled “Building Best Fiends’ by Investing into Creativity”, CEO Andrew Stalbow said sales had grown 70 per cent since the turn of the year, with September providing a highlight with a new monthly high of $6.8 million.

Overall, Best Fiends and Best Fiends Forever have racked up combined downloads of more than 85 million times.

Fiending the right path

Stablow also delved into details of its Best Fiends store, which offers collectables, limited edition products and aims to provide a similar kind of charm on show at Disney park shop.

“Given our dual Finnish-American heritage (we have offices in Helsinki, Finland, and Los Angeles, California) we’re trying to marry a Nordic design sensibility with an American-style entertainment brand,” said Stalbow.

“The intent of the store is to strengthen the brand, and as it evolves, we’ll release new products alongside new characters, animations and in-game updates.”

The blog post also came with news of three senior hires.
