World of Tanks giant Wargaming has acquired Edge Case Games, the developer of Fractured Space.

The 32-person team is to become part of Wargaming's brand new UK operation, based in Guildford. There they will be tasked with working on an unannounced MMO project for the military free-to-play specialists.

No figure has been placed on the deal.

"New ambitious game"

“We are very excited to become part of the world-renowned Wargaming, creating an expanding studio in Guildford,” Edge Case boss James Brooksby (pictured) said.

“We have built a great team with lots of relevant experience, who can’t wait to get their teeth into starting work on a big new ambitious game backed by the might of Wargaming.”
