Running parallel to the footballing jamboree over in southern Africa, the inaugural Pocket Gamer iPhone Developers World Championship will pit 32 of the planet's most outstanding iPhone game makers against each other.
Starting Friday, squads of nominees from 32 nations will compete round-robin style in eight Groups with the top two countries progressing to the knockout stages.
But who will be the chosen representatives for each country?
This is where you, the Pocket Gamer reader and iPhone developer community, spring into action again.
Whilst 21 final squad selections have been submitted to Pocket Gamer HQ by the national associations, 11 nations remain under-represented.
Fans, countrymen, and developers from the following countries, therefore, have one last chance today to nominate an iPhone game for entry into our prestigious competition:
- Austria
- India
- Serbia
- Denmark
- Italy
- New Zealand
- Czech Republic
- Brazil
- Portugal
- Republic of Ireland
- Honduras
Even if your country isn't one of those listed above, get in touch anyway with a nomination, especially from South America, Eastern Europe, and Africa.
