Having launched on Facebook at the end of March, multiplatform app store Appitalism has focused on widening its consumer base.
Now, the company behind the platform - Mobile Streams - is keen to ensure its roster of games is just as broad, having signed a deal with Irish games service provider Selatra to bring its library to the platform.
Bulging back catalogue
The deal is an extension of Selatra's existing distribution relationship with Mobile Streams that covers the UK, US and Asia Pacific.
The firm's catalogue of games from over 150 publishers crosses platforms, includes Android, Windows Mobile and J2ME releases.
"Games are the most popular downloads in our store, invariably topping our monthly download charts," said Mobile Streams' CEO Simon Buckingham.
"It is therefore important that we keep adding new and exciting content for our members to add to their devices. With Selatra on board we now have access to a wide ranging games catalog that contains something for every type of mobile gamer."
Appitalism combines a social community with an online store, enabling consumers to discover, discuss and download digital media from a catalog of over ten million premium apps, songs, books, games and videos.
