Top Gear's latest smartphone splash sharpened by GamesAnalytics platform Predict

BBC Worldwide signs up iOS and Android version

Top Gear's latest smartphone splash sharpened by GamesAnalytics platform Predict
GamesAnalytics has partnered with BBC Worldwide to deploy the firm's analytics technology within the iOS and Android versions of Top Gear: Stunt School Revolution.

The free-to-play release has been integrated with GamesAnalytics' platform Predict, enabling developers to optimise the game design and improve player engagement.

Predict and play

The idea is, Predict performs "deep dive analytics" that identifies individual experiences for different player types.

Said data can then be used to alter the game to sharpen up its play.

"We are delighted to be working with BBC Worldwide on the first fully integrated mobile implementation of our platform offering real-time predictive analytics and in-game messaging," said GamesAnalytics CEO and co-founder Chris Wright.

"Analytics to date on Top Gear: Stunt School Revolution clearly demonstrates the power of using analytics during the early stages of development."

GamesAnalytics claims it will now provide predictive modelling for Top Gear: Stunt School Revolution, as well as deploying Predict's in-game messaging tools to deliver "multilingual campaigns that maximise game monetisation and player retention."
