Korean publisher Gamevil has announced the signing of multiple third-party publishing deals.
This publishing initiative comes days after Gamevil announced that it was planning to extend its global operations by investing over $130 million into a global expansion strategy.
The first wave of deals announced involves C2 Game Studio (Colombia), Chimera Entertainment (Germany), Free Range Games (US), and Vanilla Breeze (Korea).
Worldwide designs
Gamevil announced that it plans to work closely with the four developers in terms of game design and monetisation.
In this context, it plans to leverage its relations with Kakao in Korea and LINE in Japan to publish new games into a variety of existing and emerging mobile markets.
Gamevil is raising its $130 million budget for expansion by combining a new share offering worth $80 million with its existing investment capital of $50 million.
It plans to use these funds for "aggressive acquisitions", investments, and signing new deals.
