Diner Dash inspired title Mak Cun’s Adventure serves up 100k downloads in 10 days

Restaurant management game Mak Cun’s Adventure has snagged 100k downloads since it launched May 23rd.

As reported A+M, The diner management games’ downloads were all organic.

Created by Malaysia-based games developer Media Prima Labs, Mak Cun’s Adventure is a Malaysian version of diner management title Diner Dash.

Gameplay centres on helping protagonist Mak Cun prepare orders for customers at her warung, which is a small family-owned business.

A spokeswoman for the game added that local cuisines such as char kuey teow and nasi campur were included to give the game a more local taste.

“The game also works on a star-system,” she said.

“If [players] are not able to get the full three stars, they will have to keep replaying until they achieve a three-star rating for each level.”

The Malaysian developer had also released a new level recently called Mak Cun’s Boutique which offers another 30 levels.

Looking forward, Media Prima Labs plans to release a new stall inspired by local cuisine every few months to retain player engagement, along with in-game events.
