IGG floats on Hong Kong stock exchange

F2P Chinese online and mobile game publisher I Got Games (IGG) has debuted on the Hong Kong stock exchange under the ticker HK: 08002.

Its market capitalisation was $518 million.

The company raised around $120 million from the floatation, money is expected to use to increase its internal development pipeline as well as looking for potential acquisitions.

Global reach

Based in China but headquartered in Singapore, IGG also has offices in the US and the Philippines.

It's best known for mobile games such as Castle Clash, Galaxy Online 2, Texas Hold'em Poker Deluxe and Slot Machines.

Across all its gaming operations, IGG has 90 million registered users with 9.3 million active monthly players.
