Japanese game and toy company Namco Bandai (TYO:7832) has announced its FY15 Q1 financials, for the period ending 30 June 2014.

Net sales were $1.2 billion (¥122 billion), up 16 percent year-on-year.

Net income was $115 million (¥11.6 billion), up 22 percent.

In detail

Namco splits its revenue into toys and hobby, amusement facility and content (including games).

Content sales were $649 million (¥65.7 billion), up 15 percent, while the division generated $132 million (¥13.4 billion) in terms of operating income.

Breaking out only game software and network content, sales were $397 million (¥40.2 billion).
