Indian games publisher Nazara Technologies has partnered up once again with Indian Premier League cricket team Royal Challengers Bangalore for a second mobile game

The title is a 3D mobile cricket sim called RCB Epic Cricket that includes a multiplayer mode for users in India to play against each other. The title stars players such as Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Safaraz Khan.

Hewlett-Packard, a team sponsor, has been named as the title sponsor for the game with its branding used on jerseys, billboards, real estate, the game’s UI and other areas.

Multi-year deal

Nazara and RCB signed a three-year partnership last year to develop games and engage with fans.

The first game, RCB Star Cricket, was said to have reached the number one free downloads spot on Google Play within a few days of release in India.

“Over years, RCB has become more a lifestyle brand than just a cricket team. RCB has immensely transcended the experience of fan engagement,” said RCB chairman Amrit Thomas.

“Fans connect with the team across multiple touch points on digital platforms. We strive to give them a seamless and more personalised experience for the love and support they have shown for the team.”
