Com2us scores revenues of over $450 million for the second year in a row

Com2us has posted its financials for its Q4 FY17 for the three months ending December 31st 2017.

The company posted revenues of $125 million for the quarter, and a net profit of $28.8 million. It was also the ninth consecutive quarter in which the company saw sales of over $91.7 million in overseas markets.

Overall for the year, Com2us generated $469.4 million in revenues, its second consecutive year of revenues over $450 million. It also posted record operating profits of $180.9 million for the year.

Spreading its wings

Looking ahead, the developer is set to launch a variety of titles to keep its business growing. The first, Chain Strike, will launch in March 2018, followed by games such as Birdie Crush, Dancevil and Heroes War 2.

Com2us is still developing a Skylanders game in partnership with Activision, which is due to launch in 2018. It is also working on an MMO based on its flagship game Summoners War.

The original Summoners War will be the developer's main focus in 2018, as it works to improve its esports experience. It has also struck deals with Skybound Entertainment for a series of comics and animation, and Funko for a new line of merchandise.
