Tencent, Zynga and Natural Motion set to speak at India Games Developer Conference 2018

The India Games Developer Conference has revealed its full speaker line-up for this year’s instalment.

The conference will take place at the HICC in Hyderabad from December 4th to 5th.

The show will be headed up by Natural Motion vice president Julian Widdows, who will discuss how the studio’s people-first approaches to team leadership and live operations and how it drives success with CSR2 Racing.

Elsewhere, Zynga India senior art director Dhimant Vyas will conduct a clay modelling workshop for creating fun characters for games. Tencent business development manager for India and emerging markets Vishnu Cherikkandi will also give a talk on how international studios see the opportunity in India.

Speaking

“We’re thrilled to finally announce the full line-up for 2018’s India Game Development conference,” said IGDC convenor Rajesh Rao.

“The schedule has been carefully curated over many months, and we’ve designed it so that relative newcomers to the industry will find value alongside those with many more years of experience.

“Dedicated talks, workshops and panels on the business, art and development of video games are crucial for our country’s continuing growth in the sector.

“Indians may be relatively new to game development, but Indians are learning fast, and this conference is all about facilitating sharing of knowledge and learning from successes and failures.”

The full schedule and line-up can be found on the IGDC’s website.
