iDreamSky snaps up Chinese publishing rights for US hit Toy Blast

It's fair to say that Toy Blast, a matching puzzler from the Turkish publisher Peak Games, has enjoyed success in the US.

It's become the fastest-growing puzzle game in the region, and has been featured in the top grossing charts after only a short period of time.

Toys for everyone

Evidently, this has not gone unnoticed by Chinese publishing platform iDreamSky, who has snapped up the exclusive publication rights for Toy Blast in the Greater China region following a licensing deal with Peak Games.

This region includes Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan as well as mainland China.

"The cooperation with Peak Games further expands upon our business strategy in selecting and publishing high quality games for our game users," said iDreamSky's CEO Michael Chen.

Looking ahead, we welcome more overseas games to the Chinese market through our increasingly popular platform, while providing our game users increased enjoyment through a more diversified portfolio of games."

Features Editor

Matt is really bad at playing games, but hopefully a little better at writing about them. He's Features Editor for PocketGamer.biz, and has also written for lesser publications such as IGN, VICE, and Paste Magazine.
