More proof that the iPhone and iPod touch are still accelerating when it comes to game downloads comes from Doodle Sky developer Lima Sky.
Before Christmas it announced the 99c game had finally broken the one million downloads barrier, but it seems that it might not be long until the two million mark is reached.
Latest metrics predict sales in December will be 500,000 with almost 80,000 racked up on Christmas Day alone, of which 47,019 came from the US App Store, and 15,597 and 6,518 from the UK and German App stores respectively.
"We have seen a fivefold increase in the number of downloads on Christmas Day," said Igor Pusenjak, president and founder of Lima Sky.
During these five days, Doodle Jump was the #3 top paid app on the US App Store, and the #1 top paid app on the UK and German stores.
