Ever since Disney bought Tap Tap Revenge studio Tapulous in June, we've been waiting to see what sort of uber-ambitious games the combined entity would be releasing.
And despite the release of Zoo Rescue - Tapulous' first non music game since the deal - we're still waiting to see what sort of uber-ambitious games the combined entity will be releasing.
Breakout
That's because Zoo Rescue is a simple, standalone, fairly traditional, 99c physics-based tilt game, which has you flying a helicopter down various tricky descents to rescue animals who have broken out of a zoo.
There's no music tie-in, no rhythm action, no Disney licence, just 20 levels of cute little monkeys, pigs and giraffe to pick up, and Game Center integration.
Sure, it's nice but we're also sure it's not what Disney paid an estimated $30 million for.
