Launch pains stretch out

Microsoft reportedly delaying Windows Phone 7 payments until February
Cashflow is a major worry for most small businesses, so those developers who decided to, or were encouraged to, throw in their lot for Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 launch won't be best pleased.

According to MobileTechWorld, they've been told that they won't be paid for downloads until February 2011, despite the platform launching back in late October.

Another reason they're said to be annoyed is the lack of official analytics in terms of accurately tracking downloads from the Marketplace.

The situation's also made worse as Microsoft encouraged developers to push to get their games and apps submitted for the launch window, but then found there was too much content for it to handle, delaying a large number of releases until later in 2010.
