comScore has released a chart of the iPhone apps with most penetration of US users, and it's good news for Tapulous.
The company's Tap Tap Revenge music game has apparently been installed by 32 per cent of iPhone owners there, with Touch Hockey (26 per cent), Pac-Man (24 per cent) and iBowl (24 per cent) the next most popular games.
In fact, there are 12 games in the Top 25:
As you can see, free and cheap games are those proving most popular, although it should be noted that this chart isn't a guide to App Store revenues (if anyone's planning such a chart, naturally, do ping it our way...).
In separate news, Tapulous has now launched Tap Tap Coldplay, its spin-off game based on the UK band that we reported on yesterday.
