The ExPlay Festival is returning to Britain's southwest for a second year running moving from Plymouth to the historic city of Bath where it will run from 1-2 November 2012.
The event's schedule is yet to be finalised, but organisers are promising that the festival will be 'bigger and better' than ExPlay 2011, with an expanded lineup of industry sessions and parties for attendees to take in across the two-day event.
TIGA has announced that the festival will also be the venue for the inaugural TIGA Games Industry Awards ceremony, which the trade association unveiled earlier this week.
TBA
ExPlay 2012 will also see the return of the ExPlay Boot Camp a training programme designed to equip small studios and start ups with the skills to take an idea from concept to product in six months.
Registration is expected to open soon, with more details about the event also on the way. ExPlay organisers are already bullish about the event's second showing, though.
"The festival will once again help raise the profile of the indie games industry across the UK, shining a light on indie development in the South West, and inviting everyone involved in creative, producing, publishing and playing games from across the UK and beyond to come and join us," said festival director Korash Sanjideh.
