Organisers behind Develop in Brighton have announced several additions to the Indie Dev Day track at the upcoming July conference.
Featuring content designed specifically for those involved in independent game development, the announced track features six sessions on the subject along with four Marketing Day presentations.
The keynote for Indie Dev Day, however, is sure to pack the room, as it's being delivered by Fireproof's Barry Meade whose tablet-exclusive game The Room earned Apple's iPad Game of the Year accolade for 2012.
Room-our has it
In addition to Meade's keynote - called 'A Room with a View' - Indie Dev Day features a robust line-up of informative sessions.
Dlala Studios' Aj Grand-Scrutton will lead a session entitled 'Giving It All Up To Start Afresh', while Thomas Was Alone creator Mike Bithell will lead 'The Dumb Hobby Project: Lessons Learned - Making Thomas Was Alone'.
Also on offer is 'Games as Art vs. Games as Business: The Indie Developer's Dilemma' led by Simteractive's Elaine Reynolds and 'How to Win at Kickstarter (Or Fail Gloriously Trying)' delivered by I Fight Bears founder Nicoll Hunt and Xiotex Studios' Byron Atkinson-Jones.
The Indie Dev Day track will run as part of Develop in Brighton on 11 July. Those interested in attending, or learning more, can visit the Develop website for more details.
