Everyone knows the internet and web services are going mobile.
Indeed, the latest report from Morgan Stanley says the rate of adoption of the iPhone and iPod touch is faster than i-mode, Netscape or AOL, and by a large factor.
Of course, as a fourth generation technology (in this context at least), this is to be expected.
The seminar from the investment bank was also very bullish about Apples lead over current competitors, with Katy Huberty saying Apple has a two or three-year lead" over the likes of Nokia, Samsung and Google.
Examples of how iDevice owners usage of their hardware differ from other mobile users were provided too.
While iPhone and iPod touch owners represent 17 percent of global smartphones, they account for 65 percent of the world's mobile browsing and 50 percent of its app usage.
Significantly, Symbian and BlackBerry owners did much less browsing and used fewer apps than their market share would suggest. Android and Palm users, while making up much smaller parts of the market, are more vocarious in these two areas.
You can get the high level version of the report (104 pages) here.
