MobileCrunch has got hold of a spec sheet for Nokia's hot new tablet-style device, which follows on closely from the brand new N97.
Referred to internally as the N900, one of the major technical differences here isn't actually a hardware one, but the introduction of the company's new Maemo operating system.
Wrapped around this new software is a device very similar in size to the N97 (and the iPhone, as it happens), with a 3.5" touchscreen running at an impressive 800x480 resolution, with a slide out QWERTY underneath.
It's 32GB of internal storage will apparently be expandable up to 48GB with a memory card, while 1GB of RAM (a combo of 256MB physical RAM and 768MB virtual memory) supports the OMAP3430 500/600 MHz processor - the same chip at the heart of the Palm Pre, as chance would have it.
With wi-fi and HSPA, should this new device see the light of day any time soon, Nokia's new flagship will take a lot of beating on tech specs, at least. Coupled with the new Ovi Store, it could even give the iPhone a bit of much needed competition.
